Cerys Matthews
Cerys Matthews achieved widespread popularity as the singer of the group Catatonia. With a string of hits singles including "Road Rage" and "Mulder and Scully" as well as number one albums, she firmly established herself as one of the country's great vocal talents and songwriters. Welsh born and bred, Matthews went on to record the worldwide seminal hit duet "Baby its Cold Outside" with Tom Jones. Her solo career has since spawned three critically acclaimed solo albums, "Cookahoop", "Never Said Goodbye" and, in 2009, "Don't Look Down", widely regarded by the media and fans as her best album to date.
