Father Ted presented by Whitley Bay Theatre Company *Very Limited Availability for Saturday Performance*
WBTC is proud to be presenting the hilarious “Father Ted” in November of 2013.
Following the trials and tribulations of Father Ted, the show is set on the remote and fictional Craggy Island off Ireland's west coast, starring the iconic Father Ted Crilly, alongside fellow priests Father Dougal McGuire and Father Jack Hackett.
Exiled on the island for various past incidents, the priests live together in the parochial house with their housekeeper Mrs. Doyle. “ Go on, Go on, Go on” etc!
The show revolves around the priests' lives on Craggy Island, sometimes dealing with matters of the church but more often dealing with Father Ted's schemes to either resolve a situation with the parish or other Craggy Island residents, or to win games of one-upmanship against his arch-nemesis, Father Dick Byrne of the nearby Rugged Island parish.
A brilliantly well written and hilarious production that is bound to have the audience rolling around with laughter.
Please note, we have experienced high demand for tickets, and now at limited seats for Saturdays performance.
This amateur production is presented by Whitley Bay Theatre Company.
