The Elvis Years
Now in its 18th incredible year, The Elvis Years – The Story of the King, is set once again to take audiences by storm all over the UK and beyond.
The show began life as a touring concert production of the West End smash hit Jailhouse Rock – The Musical (from the team that produced the worldwide sensation Buddy) and is led by the show’s original West End lead Mario Kombou and produced by internationally acclaimed musical director David Mackay.
With a world-class cast of actor–musicians, authentic costumes and rare film footage, The Elvis Years features more than 50 of the King’s greatest hits, including That’s Alright Mama, It’s Now or Never, Suspicious Minds and American Trilogy. The audience meet Elvis at the very humble beginnings of his journey and stay with him all the way to the glorious culmination of the legendary Las Vegas show.
Actor and singer Mario Kombou has been performing as Elvis for much of his adult life and in 2023 he was crowned UK Champion at the “Follow That Dream, UK Elvis Tribute Artist Championship”.
He says:
“There is something about Elvis and his music that speaks to people. He was the King. His music is too special to let fade into history, and seeing the audience light up night after night is such an incredible experience. There is a reason this show sells out in some of the best venues in the country, and that is because the King of Rock n’ Roll is as important now as he ever was.”
Experience The Elvis Years – for fans of Elvis, new and old, there simply is no better tribute to The King
