Located on the ground floor is our stylish foyer bar. Here you can relax here pre show with a drink and snack whilst taking in the vibrant seaside theme surroundings created by artist Frank Biffa.
Our comfortable lounge bar can be found on the first floor of the venue, accessible via stairs or lift. Enjoy drinks and snacks with views of Spanish City and the beautiful seaside town of Whitley Bay. This bar is accessible if you are seated to the rear of the auditorium (Opening times for this bar may vary depending on the show).
We also offer an interval order system which allows you to pre order your drinks, eliminating the need to queue during the interval. Please ask a member of staff at the bar prior to show start.
We operate a cashless system to speed up queuing and reduce customer waiting times.
Playhouse Whitley Bay also operates Challenge 25 which encourages anyone who is over 18 but looks under 25 to carry acceptable ID if they wish to buy alcohol.
